Heating, ventilation and air conditioning plant are often located on rooftops yet need regular access for maintenance.
To ensure there is safe access to these systems, ask for a risk assessment to provide the answers. There’s a solution to suit, including:
- Equipment access platforms
- Fold down guardrails that preserve building aesthetics
- Roof anchor points, static lines and harness systems
- Safe access to the roof, with stairs, fixed roof ladders, access hatches and walkways
PROJECT | Jam Factory
The Jam Factory is a shopping centre located in Chapel Street, Prahran. It is a converted heritage listed building with many features new and old. Defender™ plant platforms, walkways and guardrail were installed to gain access to mechanical plants.
PROJECT | VIP Packaging – Access To Air Conditioners
The project involved the design and deployment of customised platforms and ladder access.
VIP Packaging is a manufacturing plant within a saw tooth building that was built around 1960. Access was required to service the evaporative air-conditioners that are located on the roof.
