Workplace Access & Safety would like to congratulate Terminal Velocity for their outstanding performance at the 2015 F1 Schools Technology Challenge State Finals.

Trio Joel, Peter and Will put the foot to the floor from the start to finish with winning Best Graphic Design, Best Team Verbal Presentation and Best Team Marketing and have progressed through to the National F1 Schools Finals in Sydney.

The feedback from the judges for the team was extremely high, with one citing that the team was up to a standard expected at the World Finals!

Terminal Velocity were able to bring together skills in  IT,  physics, aerodynamics, design, manufacture, branding, graphics, sponsorship, marketing, leadership/teamwork, media skills and financial strategy, and apply them in a practical, imaginative and exciting way.

The team designed, manufactured and performed testing to develop a miniature F1 racer from balsa wood. Additionally, they were required to raise sponsorship and manage budgets to fund research, travel and accommodation.
